Content notes

Again this year we are pleased to be able to bring a great selection of queer films to the big screen with a wide range of queer life realities and experiences. In a society shaped by discriminatory structures such as heteronormativity, racism, sexism and classism, these experiences are are often marked by suffering. With the content notes we would like to draw your attention to sensitive content and give you an overview of which films contain it, so that you can decide for yourself whether you would like to watch the film.

The list is not all-inclusive. People react very differently to a wide variety of triggers. If you have any questions about individual films, please feel free to contact us at: contact@hiqff.de.
