Main funding
The Behörde für Kultur und Medien (The Ministry of Culture and Media of the Free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg) emphasises the importance of Hamburg as a film location by providing subsidies to the International Queer Film Festival.
Which is fantastic, we all agree!
From and for the community: that is the way the festival developed and how it should stay, as the festival is not just culture and film, but also an open space, a “home” and a place to try things out.
